The Winslow

The Winslow · Centennial Celebration · Self-Initiated Concept

THE IDEA

What if a storied New England inn celebrated a century of welcoming guests? The Winslow imagines a 100th anniversary experience rooted in the character of the inn itself. A custom centennial identity builds upon the existing brand with heritage-inspired artwork, classic coastal details, and a timeless navy-and-linen palette—creating a celebration that feels special for the milestone while still unmistakably at home at The Winslow.

THE EXPERIENCE

Centennial Identity · Custom Crest & Illustrations · Event Signage · Cocktail Napkins · Frosted Cups · Matchboxes · Commemorative Apparel

THE DETAILS

For its centennial celebration, The Winslow’s existing identity was extended into a collection of artwork and touchpoints designed specifically for the milestone. A custom 1926 crest anchors the experience, surrounded by illustrations inspired by summers along the New England coast—from the lighthouse and lobster to an Adirondack chair, compass rose, anchor, and gulls.

Rather than turning the anniversary into a themed event, the details were designed to feel collected from the world of The Winslow itself. Rope-inspired linework, cedar-shingle textures, deep navy, and warm linen bring a sense of history and place to everything from cocktail napkins and frosted cups to matchboxes and signage.

A commemorative mockneck sweatshirt gives guests something lasting beyond the celebration, while the smaller event pieces create those layered moments that make the anniversary feel considered from arrival to last call. Together, the collection celebrates 100 years of The Winslow by making the milestone feel like a natural chapter in the brand’s story—not a departure from it.
